Hello April!

1 Apr

Winter seems to be ending, all of the snow is melting away and the Robins are out doing their thing.  Spring is here and it has brought a new chapter, a new beginning, for my family.  In March we moved again and we are enjoying exploring our new surroundings.

It’s a very interesting area.  On one side we are bordered by the majestic Rocky Mountains.  On the other side we are surrounded by flat farmlands.  Only twenty minutes away there is a major city with over a million people.  Our little town is very quiet though, it is taking some getting used to!

As I mentioned we are enjoying touring around, there is some great scenery and wonderful places to visit very close by!  Here are some photos we took this month.

Honestly all of these cows were staring at ME, obviously I had to stop and take a picture!  It seems amazing to me that we can be so close to a major city, and yet five minutes away you can find the quietest of country roads with farms and…cows.

Isn’t this just gorgeous?  I love love love the mountains!  We are going to do so much hiking and skiing and all of that fun mountain stuff!

A world class zoo not too far away!  We have been taking full advantage of this, the children love it and there are always fun extra activities taking place. (It was the Tiger cub’s First birthday party on the weekend, how sweet is that?)

I also wanted to take the opportunity to thank all of you for subscribing and reading my blog – did you know that Sweet Benanna & Sam has over 500 followers now?  That sounds pretty amazing to me!

Here is a re-cap of what happened on this blog in March:

My friend, Jackie, who is not a blogger but loves to craft, bake, photograph, pretty much anything creative, shared some of her very impressive Disney Family Fun Nights with us.

Of course there were a few non-Disney posts this month…
